The Story Behind
our Name


Our founder, Red Barrington, started her illustrious career in the music industry rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.

 

However, she quickly left Simon Cowell and Nicky Chapman to their glamorous lives and entered the world of affiliate marketing.

Aged just 22, she’d doubled her salary within nine months and was managing top accounts for the likes of John Lewis, The AA, and BT.

Naturally, she was headhunted and in her next role turned £50,000 worth of activity into a staggering £2.5 million

However, she had a dream to go it alone and a star was born. Red is obviously taken from Red’s name as she’s the driving force behind the business. And just like stars help humans navigate through Earth, we’re here to guide our clients in the right direction when it comes to digital communications.

Red is a qualified marketing professional and is a Chartered Marketer.

She’s the Course Development Manager for Oxford College of Marketing. Oxford College of Marketing is one of the UK’s leading marketing colleges with 17 study centres and distance learning students from all over the world.

Red is responsible for managing CIM’s digital marketing qualifications, as well as creating content and webinars which are designed to generate interest in studying CIM qualifications. She’s written and produced the Oxcom Diploma in Digital Marketing syllabus, learning materials, and assessments, and also manages a team of tutors who deliver in-class teaching and in-company training.
